Terms of Service
Welcome to URGE ("the Service"), operated by Cyan-Inn ("we," "us"). By using urgechat.app, you agree to these Terms.
1. What URGE Is
URGE helps you break a task you're avoiding into small, timed steps. You can use it:
- Without an account, choosing from pre-written scenarios.
- Signed in with a Google account, describing your own task in free text, subject to a usage limit (currently 3 sessions per 8 hours, up to 9 per day).
A paid tier with unlimited use is planned for a future release and is not yet available.
2. Not Medical, Psychological, or Crisis Advice
URGE is a productivity tool, not a medical, psychological, or crisis intervention service. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide advice on any medical or mental health condition, and it must not be used as a substitute for professional care.
Our system automatically screens input for signs of self-harm, suicide risk, or unsafe medical requests (e.g., medication dosing) and will decline to generate a task breakdown for these — showing safety resources instead where appropriate. This screening is a safety measure, not a guarantee of detection, and is not a substitute for contacting emergency services or a crisis line if you or someone else is in danger.
If you are in crisis or considering self-harm, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line (e.g., 988 in the US) immediately. Do not rely on this Service in an emergency.
3. Accounts
- Signing in creates a new account tied to your Google identity. Any activity from before you signed in is not carried over or saved — anonymous sessions are not linked to your account.
- You're responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure; we don't manage separate URGE passwords.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service (e.g., attempting to bypass usage limits, sending abusive or illegal content).
4. Usage Limits
The free logged-in tier is limited (currently 3 missions per rolling 8-hour window, 9 per day). We may adjust these limits. Attempting to circumvent them (e.g., by manipulating client-side data, creating multiple accounts to evade limits) is a violation of these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use URGE to:
- Generate content for illegal activity.
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or abuse the underlying AI model beyond normal product use.
- Send content that is abusive, harassing, or exploitative toward others.
- Circumvent usage limits or security controls.
We may remove content or restrict access if these are violated.
6. Content You Provide
You retain ownership of the text you enter. By entering it, you grant us a limited license to process it (including sending it to our AI provider, Google Vertex AI/Gemini) solely to generate your task breakdown and operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. No Warranty
URGE is provided "as is." Time estimates, task breakdowns, and in-character reactions are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, unrealistic, or occasionally strange. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyan-Inn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Without limiting Section 2, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any decision you make or action you take (or fail to take) based on the Service, including any harm to your health, life, or safety.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
We're a small team iterating quickly (this is an early-stage product). We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update these Terms as the Service evolves — notably when the paid tier launches. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy §5). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
Unless prohibited by applicable local law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
